Introducing

Rachel has been a dedicated support worker in the social care sector for over five years, before advancing to assistant manager for four years and now serving as a registered manager with Living at Home for the past two years, all while skilfully balancing her professional responsibilities with raising two young children.

Initially uncertain about care work, Rachel quickly embraced her role with a passion, resigning from her main job to dedicate herself fully to supporting her community. Driven by a desire to enhance the quality of care, she now manages care services at Living at Home, focusing on delivering high-quality, person-centred care and leveraging her extensive knowledge of care sector regulations to make a significant difference in her clients' lives.

Recognised for her contributions with two nominations at the Great British Care Awards and a recent nomination at the Care Forum Wales Awards, Rachel is celebrated for her calm, sympathetic, and professional demeanour, which has earned her the admiration of both clients and colleagues.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys unwinding with family and friends over a cappuccino, has a special affection for Egypt, and embraces her quirky side with talents like appearing in a music video for the band Busted and playing the kazoo.

Living at Home values Rachel as a team leader who leads by example, treating her clients and team like family due to her unwavering dedication and hard work.
